On day 2 of the iSCENE 2023, Mayor Caesar S. Dy, Jr., presented the journey of how Cauayan City became a smart and sustainable city and how he continues to adapt the 17 UN SDG goals when developing and creating projects for Cauayan City. This journey was started in 2015 by the previous City Mayor and now the Ambassador of the Philippines to the Swiss Confederation and Principality of Liechtenstein, H.E. Bernard Faustino M. Dy, who continues to be UN SDG and Smart City change maker.
𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗶𝗦𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗘) was organized in the Philippines as a platform to bring local chief executives, government leaders, industries and business players together for knowledge-sharing, connection and network-building for the promotion and implementation of innovative solutions instrumental to the creation of smarter and sustainable communities in the country. It has over 700 delegates from over 80 municipalities and cities, local and overseas.
