Nitong June 14-15, nagtipon-tipon ang mga LGUs sa Cagayan Valley sa Go Hotel, Tuguegarao City para sa Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) ng DSWD. Sa annual event na ito kinikilala ang best practices ng LCPC sa pagsuporta ng mga programa para sa proteksiyon ng mga bata sa Regional LCPC Gumagalaw Caravan.
Isa ang Cauayan City sa mga LGUs na pinarangalan ng mga sumusunod na awards.:

Certificate of Recognition for Sharing Best Practices for Children
Certificate of Recognition for achieving the “Ideal Level of Functionality during the Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) Functionality Assessment by the DSWD”
Ang awards ay tinanggap ng LCPC Cauayan TWG team na pinamumunuan ni Engr. Juanito Mallillin, Jr.
