A sweet victory for Team Caesar JC Dy as they emerged winners during the recently concluded 2022 National and Local elections on May 9, 2022.
All their efforts during the campaign paved the way for success to become the next set of leaders in the city.
At around 3:00 in the morning of May 10, 2022, the Chairperson of the City Board of Canvasser, Atty. Jerbee Anthony R. Cortez, officially proclaimed the winning candidates, headed by the City Mayor elect, Caesar JC Dy Jr., at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Office.
For City Councilors, the number 1 spot went to City Councilor Edgardo “Egay” Atienza, followed by Cynthia Uy, Ariel Kenneth “Balong” Uy, Eguenio “Balong” Asirit, Edgar De Luna, Garry Galutera, Telesforo “Porong” Mallillin, Atty. Paul Mauricio, Miko Delmendo, and Bagnos Maximo, Jr., and the unopposed Vice Mayor Leoncio L. Dalin Jr.
The proclamation was witnessed by their respective families and supporters.
Team Caesar Jaycee Dy is the administration’s political party led by Mayor Bernard Faustino M. Dy, and it is only the second time in the city’s political history that all members of the party have swept the slot proving the unity of the people of Cauayan City to our new sets of officials.
With this development, Mayor Bernard Faustino M. Dy extended his congratulations to the winning team, assuring the victory of every Cauayeño with the leadership of the incoming elected officials.

The newly elected City Officials will take their oath office on June 30, 2022.
