The flagship program of Mayor Bernard Faustino M. Dy on Cauayan City’s journey to Smarter and Sustainable City is the theme of the 2022 Calendar of the City Government.
The calendar portrays the journey of performance and achievements of Mayor Bernard Dy being the initiator of the program in which Cauayan City is not only known in the country but worldwide.

From being the first Smarter City in the Philippines recognized by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) on March 25, 2015, to its engagement to Smart Cities Council and the Smart Cities Network abroad. The Smarter and Sustainable Cities Project has opened opportunities for Cauayan City to showcase its best practices both on a national and international stage.
Likewise, Cauayan City has anchored its program and developmental project under the United Nations Sustainable Goals (UNSDG) program and took the lead in localizing the goals which we call “Labing Pitong Hamon Sa Bawat Cauayeño”, to evolve as a Smarter and Sustainable Cauayan City.
