AFTER ALMOST TWO YEARS, THE FLAG AND BANNER SOAR HIGH AGAIN; SIGNALING THE START OF THE NEW NORMAL

The City Government employees has resumed the weekly  Flag Raising Ceremony on March 7, 2022 after two years of not conducting due to prohibition of mass gathering in light of the COVID -19 pandemic.

This is in view of the declaration of Alert Level 1 in the Province of Isabela pursuant to  issued Executive Order No. 11 series of 2022 wherein all government offices and other workplaces adhere to 100% on site workforce with due observance on strict and properly wearing of well-fitting face masks at all times.

The attendance of the the City Officials and employees get even more exciting giving the chance to meet again in face to face.

The sound of the Philippine National Anthem, Isabela March, Cauayan Hymn were again rendered to the delight of the attendees.

Women’s Month Celebration….

Since the month of March is Women’s Month Celebration, the Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Point System hosted the program.

Ms. Maria Cristine Ordoñez, the GADFPS Focal Person, announced the month-long schedule of activities of the celebration.

Meantime, City Councilor Cyntia Uy- Balayan gave an  inspirational message exhorting  all empowered women to show their strength and  capabilities in all their endeavor gaining respect and as a dignified women.

Meanwhile, Mayor Bernard Dy extends his gratitude to all women by recognizing their participation in the community development deserving equal protection to them at all times.

“Hindi po tayo papayag na manaig yung inequality whether in a workplace  whether be in the homes o sa kalsada,  tayo po ay I- practice na equal talaga lahat “,  Mayor Bernard Dy remarked

In closing the program , the Cauayan City Green Ladies Organization performed a zumba dance and later joined by the city officials and employees.
