The City government understand the plight of the business owners suffering from reduce business activities affecting their revenues and ability to pay, in view of the effect of COVID- 19 pandemic causing business operators in the city of their financial difficulties
In this reason that the City Council through the sponsorship of City Councilor Edgardo Atienza Jr, has passed and concurred by the council an ordinance extending the deadline for the payment of business permit from January 21, 2021 to March 31, 2021 without penalty, surcharge and interest.
The move was approved by the Acting City Mayor Leoncio A. Dalin, Jr. which take effect immediately.
The month of January is the renewal of business permits in the city until January 20, 2021 and beyond the deadline shall pay a corresponding penalty and surcharges.
Meantime, an online transaction as an alternative for securing business permits in the city hall is being implemented for the convenience of the tax payers.
