Various LGU projects have been inaugurated coinciding with the 11th Anniversary of Rescue 922 and the Birthday Commemoration of the late Mayor Benjamin G. Dy.
Some of these infrastructure projects have been finished while others are on their way to its completion.
During the day, the first activity of the City Officials headed by Mayor Bernard Dy with the presence of Vice Governor Faustino G. Dy III and Congressman Faustino A Dy V was the groundbreaking of Bagsakan Center located at Barangay Alicaocao with an allocated budget of 10,000,000 pesos under the Local Government Support Fund-Assistance to Cities (LGSF—FALGU). The project is a drop-off center intended for agricultural products ready for marketing
The newly constructed Office of the Community Environment and Natural Resources at City Terminal Barangay Cabaruan is now ready to serve its clients in a more convenient environment following its inauguration and blessings ceremony. The newly constructed office was built having a temporary office after it was transferred from its former office at barangay Tagaran Cauayan.
Following the event, the group proceeded to Barangay Tagaran, for the Ground Breaking of the Veteran’s Tribute Skate Park. The project has an allocated budget of 13.5 million pesos from the LGSF-AC.
The next activity was the launching of the Contactless Apprehension Program (NCAP). The project aims to help manage the increase in traffic and ensure safety amidst the fast-paced development of the city by adapting and institute new measures and technologies such as the no contact apprehension system for any violations from the vehicle owner and operator.
Another LGU building was also completed to house the City Engineering Office side by side with the motor pool. This is located along the vicinity of the New Hall of Justice at Barangay Tagaran.
In the City of Cauayan, we have now the New Hall of Justice where all Court Offices were house into one building together with the Judges’ Villa. A more spacious parking park and conveniently used for court litigations.
Meantime, at Cauayan City Sports Complex, the statue of the late Mayor Benjamin G. Dy was unveiled. The BGD Statue is a symbol of inspiration of selfless contribution to the people of Cauayan and Isabela.
And finally, the newly installed City Health Office III has inaugurated while Mayor Bernard Dy urged every health worker/ personnel to take care of the facility while extending his great appreciation to them for their untiring services as primary frontliners during this time of the pandemic. He also envisioned that the center might become a medical center in the next few years for quality medical care.
