Cauayan City was placed again into GCQ Bubble as there has been a spike of confirmed Covid 19 patients apart of the threat of Delta Variant resulting in a full capacity status of hospitals.
The GCQ Bubble was effective starting midnight of August 14, 2021, until midnight of August 31, 2021, as stated in Executive Order No 70-2021 released by the Office of the City Mayor.
The City Government of Cauayan is implementing measures calculated to control the movement and convergence of its constituents during the effectiveness of the GCQ Bubble.
With the implementation of the Executive Order, the Covid 19 Task Force members were mobilized to strictly enforce safety measures especially those of outsiders coming into the city.
The PNP Personnel have conducted checkpoints in all entry points while the Apprehension Team continuously monitoring the movement of the people on health protocols due to pandemic.
Meantime, before the month ends another order was released extending the GCQ Bubble until September 7, 2021
This was the second time that the City of Cauayan was placed into the GCQ Bubble. The first was on April 26, 2021, to May 2, 2021
