Sa flag raising ceremony hosted ng City Cooperative Office, tumanggap ang Lungsod ng Cauayan ng Plaques of Recognition na inginawad ng Department of Tourism Region 2 sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Dr. Troy Alexander G. Miano, Regional Director. Kabilang sa awards ang mga sumusunod:

2. Exemplary Support and Outstanding Contribution to the Successful Implementation of the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence Program
3. Partner in Development and Promotion of New and Existing Domestic Tourism Opportunities in Cagayan Valley
4. Prioritization of Tourism Development through the Formulation, Endorsement and Implementation of Local Tourism Development Plan
5. Partner in Bringing National and International Recognitions and Accolades in the Cagayan Valley Region through various Tourism Initiatives for the Year 2022-2023
