Another pride for the City of Cauayan is one of the members of the City Council, Hon. Caesar “Jaycee” Dy, Jr . was conferred as COUNCILOR OF THE YEAR by the Nation Builders and Mosliv Awards 2022.
The recognition was given during the Awarding Ceremony on March 19, 2022, held at the Grand Ballroom, Okada Manila.
With all the awardees gathered to celebrate and honored the change-makers and leaders in sustainability across the Philippines, Councilor Dy has joined into these most coveted awards recognizing their outstanding performance in their own respective fields.
Councilor Dy was recognized for being a staunch advocate of smart and sustainable agriculture. He serves as the Sectoral Representative of Agriculture in the City Council and aims to strengthen the backbone of Cauayan City’s agro-industry in his relatively young political career. He has authored meaningful resolutions and ordinances that benefit the typical farmer.

Ito po ay hindi ko makakamtan kung hindi sa inyong walang sawang pagsuporta sa ating mga adbokasiya at proyekto na naglalayong tulungan at bigyan ng oportunidad ang bawat Cauayeno, lalong-lalo na ang ating mga mahal na magsasaka. Ang parangal na ito ay parangal ng bawat Cauayeno.”, remarked Councilor Jaycee Dy in his post at his Social Media account.
His proud family, led by former mayor Caesar G. Dy, was also present in witnessing the awarding ceremony.
