The City Government of Cauayan officially received the ASEAN MICE Venue Standard Award(Exhibition Venue Category) on January 26, 2024 at Landmark Mekong Riverside Hotel, Lao PDR during the Asean Tourism Forum 2024.

The award was personally given by the Department of Tourism Secretary, Ma. Esperanza Christina Garcia Frasco, witnessed by the other Ministers of Tourism and delegates from the Asean region.

Cauayan City is one of the 4 cities from the Philippines who was given this prestigious award featuring the Isabela Convention Center in recognition of its compliance to the Asean Tourism MICE Exhibition standards.
