Ceremonial turn over of Hybrid Electric Road Train took place at the grounds of Hotel Andrea with the presence of none other than DOST Secretary Fortunato Dela Peña, Mayor Bernard Faustino Dy, visitors from Smarter Cities Council, DOST02 RD Sancho Mabborang and ISU President Dr. Ricmar P. Aquino
“Hybrid Electric Road Train is mainly powered by hybrid diesel fuel and electric-powered battery. It is energy-efficient because it does not need electricity and suspended cables to operate. It is designed by Filipino Engineers to provide a possible answer to the mass transportation crisis.”
