LAUNCH of eLGU (Electronic Local Government Unit) SYSTEM

This August 27, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), together with Undersecretary David Almirol, launched the eLGU app in Cauayan City.
The eLGU System is a software solution designed by DICT for LGUs pursuant to Republic Act 11032, a law promoting the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) and the delivery of public services more easily and efficiently.
Through the eLGU, citizens can access their LGU’s websites and services more easily wherever they are.
The representative of the Department of the Interior and Local Government, Engr. Corazon Toribio, the Provincial Director and the representative of ARTA (Anti-Red Tape Act), Architect Steve Virgil Sarabia of LGU Cauayan City and others attended the launching. Prior to the launch, a series of training sessions on the use of the system by selected employees were conducted by the DICT.
