The resiliency of local cooperatives in the City of Cauayan has been challenged amidst the pandemic brought about by Covid 19 but it remains steadfast and have shown more determination to stand- firm and perform better to the community.
During the Cooperative Month Celebration held on October 27, 2021 at Senior Cit1zen Building, Mrs. Sylvia Domingo, the City Cooprative Officer had expressed her gratitude to the 16 cooperatives in the city for displaying splendid acts in extending assistance especially to the health worker-frontliners while performing their selfless services. She further thanked the City Government for all the supports given to make the cooperative viable in all their undertakings. The latest of which is the granting of Livelihood Assistance of P25,000.00 from the LGU Gender & Development Fund to every cooperative namely;

The event was attended by the City/Provincial Officials , and NELCO officers with Mr. Gerry Zapata.
Following the program was a raffle draw of some prizes that were given out to lucky attendees with the awarding of Koop Nego Kart to Exponent Credit Cooperative, IDEA Multi Purpose Cooperative, and the PARDs Cooperative.
This year’s Cooperative Month Celebration carries the theme; “ Kooperatibang Matatag: Tumutugon sa mga Hamon, Daan sa Pagbangon, Nagbibigay Pag-asa sa Makabagong Panahon!”
