Nitong April 4, 14 na talented home cooks at local chefs ang nagpasiklaban sa isang cook off competition sa BGD Sports Complex. Ang main ingredient ay kabute or mushrooms, isa sa mga staple produce ng Cauayan City.
Kasabay nito nagkaron din ng juice drink competition ang ating mga local juicers kung saan nag-serve sila ng kanilang special mix of beverage drinks.
Ang board of judges para sa competition na ito ay binuo ng local chefs and restaurant owners, oversea chefs, pati ng isang guest celebrity chef.
Ang cooking competition ginawang posible ng City Cooperative Office headed by Ma’am Sylvia Domingo.
