A cheers and a thumbs-up for the people of Cauayan City as the Local Chief Executive and his city as the recipients of the most coveted Nation Builders and Mosliv Awards 2021 on November 24, 2021, at the City of Dreams Grand Ballroom.
Mayor Bernard Faustino M. Dy for being an Honoree as Local Chief Executive of the Year Nation Builders Award while the City of Cauayan for winning the Most Sustainable and Liveable Cities Award for this year.
The awarding body recognizes and applauded the efforts done by the leadership of Mayor Bernard Dy for his relentless effort in localizing the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
“ Honored to be part of the first honorees of Nations Builders and Mosliv Awards by Sustainability Standard Inc.. Indeed a manifestation of Cauayan City’s quest for a Smarter and Sustainable City is contributing to making this world a better place!” Mayor Bernard Dy remarked in his Social Media post.
Cauayan City is the Philippines’ First Smarter City by the Department of Science and Technology on March 25, 2015, and from thereon the city adopted and localize the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals where all plans and programs of the LGU are aligned for the achievement of these goals, with the aim to evolve as a Smarter and Sustainable Cauayan City.
The Nation Builder’s and Mosliv Awards 2021 is giving honor to exemplary accomplishments of leaders, initiatives, and organizations who have made sustainability an integral part of their business practice and for working to reduce the impact of their business on our environment.
