Mommies-Treat-Day-Off, an outreach activity conducted in relation with the celebration of the National Women’s Month held at the Community Center of Brgy District 1 Cauayan City in collaboration and support of the GAD Focal Point System of the City Government of Cauayan. The activity benefited the women victims and would be victims of VAW at the said barangay wherein they were abreast of their rights under RA 9262 known as the Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act of 2004, and were also taught with skills on soap (dishwashing) making and pastry (cookies and cake) making. The women participants were also given a treat to enjoy their day like having their hair colored and treated, dry massage and wellness, and make-over (treading).
