May 10, 2021 -The registration for the Philsys National ID for Cauayan was officially kicked off shortly after its launching attended by some Philsys officials LGU representative, and SM Management at SM (Cinema)-Cauayan City.
Along with their equipment and facilities in the registration, the Philsys personnel will be in Cauayan period of time to serve the people of Cauayan.
The registration has long been scheduled but due to the Covid-19 pandemic it was postponed and only this time that it was realized.
But still, applicants for the national ID shall observe the health protocols like wearing of face mask, face shield, social distancing, and others.
The first day of registration was a success with a good number of registrants from barangay Cabaruan and LGU employees.
Applicants are encouraged to register if already complied with Step 1 ( online registration) with an appointment slip for Step 2 (data profiling) .
The Philsys says that the National ID is meant to provide Filipino citizens and foreign residents in the Philippines a single and unified proof of identity to ease public and private transactions and deter criminality.
To avoid a huge crowd of applicants, Philsys has given a scheduled date (for the month of May) for every barangay. (refer to the list below).
