Thousand of vehicle owners lined- up the streets of Cauayan City to avail of the Auto Sweep RFID initiated by the City Government of Cauayan .
Record revealed says that a total of 2,898 car owners availed the RFID Caravan.
The RFID Caravan in Cauayan- Drive Through Installation was held on January 20-22, 2021 at Cauayan City Sports Complex after San Miguel Corp., being in charge of the Auto Sweep granted the request of Mayor Bernard Dy to accommodate Cauayan City residents – vehicle owner for the installation of RFID Stickers instead of going to at Metro Manila.
Prior to the scheduled caravan, the City Government made an intensive preparation for the accommodation of Auto Sweep personnel as well as the smooth flow of traffic that may incur to minimize any problem encountered.
Through enough, the first day of the caravan was well responded and according to early responders they were already at the site as early as 2:00 in the morning servicing not only for the City of Cauayan but in general for those who want to avail.
Before the caravan set, the Auto Sweep personnel have undergo covid 19 screening to ensure covid free during their operation.
Personnel from the city government were also deployed to do the task given; the PNP and POSD manned the traffic flow, the Rescue 922 for the body temperature check of the motorists, the Burau of Fire Protection as stand by personnel, as well as the staff of City Information and Communications Technology Office. Barangay Officials and personnel of Barangay Tagaran have also assisted for the security .
Those who availed the RFID expressed their thanks to the city mayor for the initiative undertaken at their most convenient time.
The Auto Sweep provider will service the SLEX, SKYWAY,NAIA, STAR TOLL, and the TPLEX for the cashless transaction.
With the success of the caravan, Mayor Bernard Dy expresses his gratitude to all who availed the service of Auto Sweep especially to the management of San Miguel Corp, for bringing the RFID Caravan in the City. He added that the caravan will be backed as soon as the other provider- the Easy Trip will grant the request as negotiation is underway. The Easy Trip is in charge for the NLEX and SCLEX.

Hopefully makabalik po sila dito at muli po nating gaganapin ang caravan ng Easy Trip dito sa lungsod ng cauayan. Again maraming salamat po sa inyong kooperasyon”. Mayor Bernard Dy remarked.
