Ipinagdiwang nitong Pebrero 16 sa Lina’s Event Place, Tagaran, Cauayan City ang 28th National Autism Week at 31st Down Syndrome Consciousness Month.
Ang theme ngayon taon ng National Consiciousness week ay: “ Accessible Education and Economic Empowerment for Pinoys on the Autism Spectrum”. Ang theme naman ng National Down Syndrome Consciousness Month ay “Supportahan natin ang isa’t isa! Sama- sama tayong bumuo ng komunidad na inklusibo para sa lahat!”
Kasama sa mga aktibidad noong araw na iyon na sinalihan ng individuals with Autism and Down Syndrome ang:
● Free Medical at Dental Check-up
● Orientation on promoting the education of children with autism and down syndrome
● Family day
– Talent Show
– Search for Mr. and Mrs. Ability
– Therapeutic Art
